Growing Together Psychology strongly promotes family inclusion in all child and family therapy (counselling).
Within the broader context of family therapy, parent coaching and family counselling sessions can assist with strengthening relationships, blending families and improving healthy living.
Parent Coaching and family therapy (counselling) services
Parenting is a challenging job and we often hear parents tell us they lack confidence in how they manage some of the challenges it presents. At Growing Together we are committed to supporting parents through family therapy services to create a healthy family life for themselves and their children.
Parent coaching is a valuable addition to our range of intervention services. When we work with parents they often understand the strategies that would be most supportive for their child but find themselves struggling to apply them amidst their busy family life. Parent coaching sessions help to bridge the gap between knowing and doing.
We also offer parent and child/adolescent relationship based support.
